UN Member Rank Under the IBF Model
The Incentive-Based Franchise (IBF) Model is a method of
comparing the level of compliance with internationally-accepted standards of
democracy among UN-member states. Member states are ranked from number 1 for
the most democratic, to number 180 for the least democratic. For a detailed
discussion of the IBF Model employed here, please read: "Improving
the Performance of National Governments through Factor Monitoring".
